Briefings with Key Decision Makers

Over the last couple of months, the Wagga Rail Trail Committee have been making presentations to all the key decision making groups within the city.
 
To date we have secured support for the Wagga Rail Trail project from Committee4Wagga, Riverina Regional Tourism, Wagga Business Chamber, RAAF Base Wagga, Regional Development Australia – Riverina, NSW Industry and Investment and have started working with Wagga Wagga City Council to progress the project.
 
More recently we had a positive meeting with Daryl Maguire, Member for Wagga Wagga. Lisa and Samantha brought him up to date with the project and our progress, and he was very complimentary about our process of building community support for the trail. We plan to continue meeting with him on a fairly regular basis to discuss our progress.
